There is a quote I read somewhere that says, "Faith is walking to the edge of all the darkness you have and then taking one more step."
Another one is: "Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase."--Martin Luther King, Jr.
I would like to say to you, "Brother", thank you for being a man of faith ready to "Go where no one has gone before!" I am ready for the adventure that God has for our church.
On Saturday at our Leadership Meeting, when I saw you, John and Kelly standing there, not only as a team, but as a BAND of BROTHERS, I couldn't hold back the tears. I know that you three don't see the whole staircase yet, but you trust in the One who made the staircase and has the plan.
I loved the unity in yours, John's and Kelly's blogs.....all 3 of you are "on the edge", "ready to dive" and "boldly go"!
Let me say "AMEN" to you precious wife's comment! I have my scuba gear ready. As Picard says in STAR TREK.....ENGAGE!
